As Community Association Managers, we often feel like we are constantly trying to justify our jobs. The responsibility is enormous, and we are constantly vigilant about the tasks that need to be completed for the routine, scheduled and ad hoc maintenance projects. Keep up the good work. There is a need for professional management, and despite the fact that you may not receive “thanks”, you are needed. On any given day, there are a lot of simultaneous moving parts to manage and delegate in the community including: personnel, vendors, owners, guests, board members, projects, attorneys, school buses, entertainment, elevators, pool/spas, disputes and emergencies to name a few (maybe more than a few).
You are an asset and a professional! Do your best job each day. Leave it at the office; don’t take it home with you. Find and strive to maintain balance in your personal and professional life.
